How to animate GIF with Photoshop (Christmas)
Step 1: Draw on each layer (The more frames you create the smoother it will look)
Step 2: Window --> Timeline --> Create Frame Animation Step 3: Make Frames from layers Step 4: Change timing (0.3 seconds*) Step 5: File --> Export --> Save for web --> GIF --> Forever --> SAVE! |
For this video tutorial, I wanted to do something related to Christmas because it’s close by. I thought this tutorial can help the students to create a little fun GIF for their friends or families. In the beginning, I thought it would really easy to create this tutorial because I realized editing the timing was a lot harder than it looks. At first, I recorded the tutorial with OBS, it can only exported into mkv files. I can’t seem to open that file in iMovie. I ended up using QuickTime Player to screen record the tutorial again. I think overall I did so many times because I couldn’t get it to look like how I wanted. I tried to record my voice as well. But, it turned out to be hard to follow, and I ended up just mumbling. Overall, I enjoyed this project, and I learned that making a tutorial needs time and dedication.

How to make a mini Zine with one paper (Malala's story)
If you can make a difference by using the magic pencil. What would you draw and write?
For the tutorial, scroll to 7:35 |
Students will create a mini “Zine” with the “One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world” by Malala as the cover. Allowing students to understand Malala’s story, the teacher will read the story, Malala’s Magic Pencil by Malala. After students understand her story and how she was brave to write about her concerns for the whole world to see. This will encourage students to write their own what issues they see in their community. The students can keep the Zine as a reminder of equality and respect for others.
